Clayton W. White Cloud

Clayton W. White Cloud, 81 of Sioux City passed away Friday, December 15, 2023. A memorial visitation will be Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Clayton was born the son of William and Gladys (Chapman) White Cloud on March 30, 1942 in Fort Yates, South Dakota. He moved around quite a bit in his youth and eventually settled in Sioux City. Clayton worked for IBP for 15 years and then at both WinnaVegas and Casino Omaha for several years.

Clayton’s pride and joy were his grandchildren and he loved spending time with them. He also enjoyed working out at the YMCA in his younger years and drinking coffee with his buddies at Guss’s and Horizon. He was a proud member of AA for over 45 years.  

Clayton is survived by his family, Bobbie (Matthew) Johnson; Courtney Johnson and her daughters, BrookLynn and Isabella; Matthew (Alexis) Johnson, Jr. and their kids, Levi, Chandler, and Isaac; and Lynnzee (Dawson) Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
