Christopher J. Birdsell

Christopher J. Birdsell, 40, of Sioux City, IA, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022 in Lawton. A Memorial Service will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. A visitation will be 12:00 P.M. until the time of service. The family request to have you wear your favorite sports jersey in honor of Christopher. Christopher was born June 22, 1982 to Robert Birdsell and Teri Card in Sioux City, IA. He graduated from Akron-Westfield Highschool in 2000. He later on attended Western Iowa Tech Community College and majored in Police Science. Christopher married Maggie Hodgson and to this marriage had three little girls. They later divorced. Christopher was a truck driver for SRS Roofing, delivering shingles. He was active with the Sunnybrook Community Church in Sioux City. Christopher was an avid fan of the Sioux City Musketeers and Colorado Avalanche Hockey Teams. He was very active in his children’s sports, coaching them in basketball and in volleyball. He will be deeply missed by many friends.

He is survived by his three daughters; Summer, Hailey and Anna Birdsell, father, Robert (Patrick McCuen) Birdsell, mother, Teri Card, one sister, Jennifer Allyn, one brother, Chad Birdsell, paternal grandparents Jim and Donna Birdsell, and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Shirley Daniels.
