Christine Kay Fuller

October 10, 1961 — September 14, 2025

Sioux City, Iowa

Christine "Chris" Kay Fuller, 63, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, peacefully with her children by her side, at Angelhaus Memory Care in Yankton, SD, following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Born on October 10, 1961, in Sioux City, IA, she was the daughter of Paul and Jean Fuller.

Chris grew up in Sioux City and was a proud graduate of West High School. She was known for her infectious smile, energetic spirit, and her ability to connect with everyone around her. Throughout her life, Chris was actively engaged in various sports during her youth, which instilled a passion for bowling where she made many life-long friendships.

On July 26, 1980, Chris was united in marriage to Michael R. Bracht in Sioux City, an event that marked the beginning of a family that she cherished deeply. Together, they welcomed two children who became the center of her world. Although Chris and Mike later divorced, they continued to nurture and support the family they created.

Chris worked at PennCorp Insurance, Bekins, and various other jobs throughout the Sioux City area. Her dedicated and supportive nature brought her to the racetrack on the weekends to watch her brothers “turn left” and looked forward to the annual Powderpuff where she dominated her competition. Chris was a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan. Even as her memory declined, she never forgot to cheer for Patrick “Mahomey.” She also enjoyed making homemade schnaaps, runza, cakes, and holiday goodie trays for those she loved. But more than anything her biggest accomplishment was her kids, her greatest source of pride.

She leaves behind her loving children, Dianna (Brent) Tehven of Fargo, ND, and Tony (Ashley) Bracht of McCook Lake, SD, five cherished grandchildren: Noah, Christian, Timothy, Theodore, and Lauren, her siblings: DeWayne (Robin) Fuller, Scott (Carol) Fuller, and Jon (Sherri Strom) Fuller, as well as her sister-in-law, Sara Fuller, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Jean Fuller and granddaughter, Ella Jo Tehven.
