Christina J. (Elgert) Fick

Christina J. (Elgert) Fick, 39, of Sioux City, IA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 7, 2023.

A memorial service for Christina will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at the Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel (822 Jennings St.) in Sioux with Rev. Scott Squires officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Christina, the daughter of Thomas “Tom” and Susan (McCormick) Elgert, was born January 26, 1984, in Sioux City. She grew up in Sioux City and attended West High School.

Christina was united in marriage to Brandon Fick and they were blessed with three children: Ryleigh, Adriana, and Nathaniel. Christina worked at Godfather’s Pizza, Casey’s, and for the South Sioux City School lunch program.

Christina enjoyed doing diamond paintings, baking and decorating cakes, going on vacation with her family to MN, snuggling with her beloved pets and hanging out with her friends and kids. 

She is survived by her spouse, Brandon Fick of Sioux City; three children: Ryleigh, Adriana, and Nathaniel all of Sioux City; her father, Tom Elgert of Sioux City; one brother, Mike (Debbie) Elgert of Sioux City; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Elgert; one brother, Chad Elgert; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
