Christina M. Brinkman, 69 of Sioux City, IA passed away May 29, 2025. A memorial service will be held June 7, 2025 at the Sioux City Art Museum from 2-4pm, in the Frederick and Alice Stark Lecture Hall.
Christina was born the daughter of Betty Adair on March 28, 1956 in Sioux City, Iowa. She graduated from South Sioux City High School in 1974, she then moved around before settling in Sioux City where she’s lived the last 20 years.
She worked as a CNA for 20 years and had several other odd jobs.
Christina was a talented artist. She enjoyed painting and drawing, especially for her children. She also liked watching her favorite TV shows, The Golden Girls and I Love Lucy, and was a big Betty White and Mickey Mouse fan.
Christina is survived by her sons, Ted Cooper and Keyuon Brinkman; her daughter, Paige Redbird; her grandsons, Marquis Riley, Rashawn Riley, and Dante Riley-Cooper; her granddaughter, Jada Smith; and her sisters, Amy Brandt and Thelma Carver.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Theresa Morris; and beloved son, Bryson Brinkman.
