Carol Kay Boucher 79, Of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away Oct 15th, 2023.  After a lengthy battle with cancer at a local care facility surrounded by family. Per Carol’s Request there will be no funeral services or visitation. There will be a private family gathering at a later date.

She will be forever loved and forever remembered.

Carol was born in Allen, Ne. to Alfred Carl Otto Bose and Leona Alberta Bose (Mattes) on May 7th, 1944. Carol moved with her parents to Sioux City, IA in 1954. Carol graduated from Central High School in 1962. Carol continued her education as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

While working at a bar in Huron, SD in 1969 she met her now deceased former husband William John Boucher SR. The couple dated until February 14, 1971, when they married.  Carol Followed William throughout his Military Career and settled in San Diego, Ca., where Carol served alongside William as a Nurse and an Ombudsman from November 1982- April 1984 for the Top Gun airwing VF 211 the Fighting Checkmates. Carol and William continued to Live in San Diego, Ca with their three children until 1986 when Carol and William moved to Escondido, Ca where they purchased their first home. During this time in her career as a nurse. Carol had the pleasure to work with players from the San Diego Padres, San Diego Chargers, and Theodor Seuss Geisel (better known as Dr. Seuss) Carol and William then moved to Sioux City, IA in 1997 to help care for Carols Father; until their divorce in 1998. Carol proceeded to work as a nurse throughout Siouxland until health issues forced her into retirement in 2016.

 Carol is Survived by her Children; William John Boucher Jr. and wife Amber, Angellia Rene Conrad (Boucher)and husband Gary. Grandchildren: Stephanie L Bock (Boucher) and husband Byrce, Samantha Conrad, Kayla Conrad. A Step-Granddaughter Amber N. Conrad and husband Michael Corbett. Carol also has two Great-Grandchildren Elliott and Abigail Bock, and two Step-Great- Grandchildren Timber Ashworth and Autumn Corbett, and Carol’s sister Betty Roberts.

Carol was preceded by, Mother Leona Alberta Bose (Mattes), Father Alfred Carl Otto Bose, Sister Violet Stolle, Brothers Myron, Robert, and Harold Bose, and Former Husband William John Boucher.

Carol and The Family have requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions in Carol’s Memory to the Siouxland Humane Society.
