Byron Keith Horn

Byron Keith Horn, 56, of Sioux City, passed away September 8, 2020 at a local hospital.  A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 17 at 6:00 p.m. at New Life in Christ COGIC.  Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.  

Byron was born on January 18, 1964 to the late Doris (Steber) and Walter D. Horn in Houston, TX.  He moved to Sioux City, IA in 1987 and worked as a Material Handler at IBP and Cloverleaf Cold Storage.  He loved the Houston Texans.  Byron was a devoted father, and a well-rounded individual and could talk on any subject.  He loved his blues music, sports and he believed in God.

He is survived by his son, Dante Horn; two brothers: Randall and Terrance Horn both of Houston, TX; two sisters: Sonya Horn and Julia Kennedy of Natchitoches, LA; along with a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Archie Horn, Donald Blake, Willie James Horn; sisters: Tammy Williams and Betty Blake.
