Byran Lee Hesse, 68, of Sioux City, passed away at home on Friday, February 13, 2026.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.

Byran was born on May 29, 1957, in Portland, Oregon, the son of Dwayne and Virginia (Jacobsen) Hesse. He grew up in Sioux City and graduated from East High School. On May 31, 1986, he married Debbie Warren in Las Vegas.

Byran enjoyed woodworking and visiting the casino. He also enjoyed watching dirt track racing and following Musketeer hockey.

Survivors include his children, Sara (Shane) Ruppe and Tim (Kelli) Hesse, Joe Ross, and Kati Ross; ten grandchildren; and siblings, Marty Hesse, Doug (Pam) Hesse, Donnie (Krystal) Hesse, Richie (Cheryl) Hesse, Rhonda Dickinson (Don), and Sheri Miller (Joel).

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Debbie Hesse; daughter, Tiffany Scott; and brother, Steve Hesse.
