Brian Cody (Beck) Ferguson

Brian Cody (Beck) Ferguson, 52 of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at a local hospital.  Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2022 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with burial to follow at Banner Township Cemetery in Lawton, Iowa.  Visitation will be this evening, Sunday, January 16^th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.meyerbroschapels.com

Brian was born on April 11, 1969 in Sioux City, Iowa to Kent E. Beck and Janet (Junck) Rohan.  He graduated from Hinton High School with the Class of 1987.  In 1992, Brian married Leslie Thompson, and to this union 4 children were born.

Brian worked for Dependable Fire Protection in LeMars, Iowa for 6 years.  In 1992, he enrolled in a 5-year apprenticeship program and joined the UA Local 669 Road Sprinkler Fitters.  Brian received his training through Penn State University and excelled in this program, completing it 1 ½ years early.  He has been a proud and loyal union member and employed at Building Sprinkler, Inc, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota for over 30 years. 

Brian enjoyed many activities with his kids including being a Cub Scout Leaker, who helped his sons build awesome pinewood derby cars, among other woodworking projects.  He also enjoyed taking his kids to race Motocross and remote-control cars.  Brian was a man who always showed up to help his family and friends, whether it was a leaking faucet or a leaking roof, he was always there to lend a hand.

Brian is survived by his sons Dustin, Colton, and Kenten Ferguson, and daughter Tristen Ferguson; his mother Janet (Junck) Rohan; brother Brent Ferguson; and girlfriend Kelly Heaton.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, step-father Lowell Ferguson, and his father-in-law Bill Cook.
