Bonnie Kay Haefs

Bonnie Kay Haefs, 62 of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at a local hospital.  A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2023 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Neil Peck officiating.  Visitation, with family present, will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home Monday afternoon. 

Bonnie was born on November 18, 1960 in Sioux City.  She’s been a Siouxlander all her life, and married Philip Haefs on July 1, 2005 in Sioux City.  Bonnie was a sentimental and deeply caring person, never demanding or complaining, was thrifty, loved cooking and celebrating fun holidays.  She loved music and singing.  Other than her love for being a homemaker, Bonnie worked as a Customer Service Representative for an insurance agency while in the workforce.

Bonne is survived by her husband Philip of Sioux City; children Tiffaney (Noah) McDaniel, Casey (Brittnee Rich) Hanley, Jacob Haefs, Barry Haefs, Cora Haefs, and Tasha Haefs; grandchildren Matthew Barnes, Alden McDaniel, Ala Hanley, Lyla Murfield, Auhbrey Haefs, Benjamin Haefs, and Anaya Haefs; and brother Ronald Thompson.
