Beverly Ann Montagne, 88 of Sioux City passed away peacefully at her home on January 7, 2024. Due to the impending weather, Beverly's Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Thank you for your understanding as her family strives to keep their friends and loved ones safe. Burial will be held at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Beverly was born on October 10, 1935 in Oto, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur and Sarah (Green) Barnacle. She married Robert Montagne and they went on to have three children together.
Beverly worked as a medical secretary in multiple doctor’s offices and spent the majority of her years working for Dr. Bedell.
Her greatest joys were found in spending time with her family and supporting her grandchildren and great grandchildren in many of their activities. She enjoyed baking, sewing, and doing puzzles. Family gatherings were important to her, and she always made them special for others by including their favorite recipes. Everyone looked forward to her delicious cakes, cookies, and treats at birthday celebrations and holidays. Beverly also enjoyed watching Sunnybrook Church on Sunday mornings in her home. She will fondly be remembered for her beautiful smile and laughter.
Survivors include her children, Jeff (Jean) Montagne from Sioux City, Linda (Patrick) Bird of Marcus, Iowa, and Staci (Michael) Ingram of Sioux City; grandchildren, Rusty Montagne (Tonia Buhman), Michelle (Petrik) Frank Barajas, Jill (Brandon) Bertagnolli, Sarah (Nate) Pettepier, Hannah Ingram, and Zachary (Erika) Ingram; great grandchildren, Chayce, Gunner, Kaitlyn, Iyla, Wyatt, Colton, and Fletcher; and many loved nieces and nephews.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Betty Jackson and Ruth Irwin; brother-in-law, Les Irwin; and granddaughter, Leah Bird.
