Bernard O. Taylor, 98, of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away peacefully on April 10th, 2026.

Bernard “Bunny” Taylor was born in Felixstowe, England, and immigrated to the United States with his loving wife Joyce in 1957, beginning a new chapter that would shape the rest of his life. He made Sioux City his home and spent many years working as a dedicated glazier at Jolin Glass.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce O. Taylor, who passed in 1989; his loving daughter-in-law, Marie Taylor (2025), wife of his eldest son, Dean Taylor; and all ten of his brothers and sisters, as the last surviving member of a family of eleven siblings.

Bernard is survived by his sons, Dean Taylor, and Tony Taylor and his wife, Theresa Taylor; and his cherished granddaughter, Madison J. Taylor, many nieces, and nephews.

A man who found his greatest joy in simple pleasures, Bernard loved spending time with his family and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and playing pool. He will be remembered for his resilience, his dedication to those he loved, and the life he built across continents. In his later years, Bunny especially cherished his many trips back to England to visit family and friends, often traveling with his children and granddaughter.

His legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the many memories they will carry forward with love.
