Barry Allen King

February 16, 1964 — December 5, 2025

Sioux City, Iowa

Barry Allen King was born on February 16, 1964, to Charles and Cathrine King in Sioux City, Iowa. He passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025.

Barry spent his childhood and much of his life in Sioux City, Iowa. He worked hard for many years in construction, helping build cell phone towers across the region.

Above all else, Barry loved his family. He was a proud father of two daughters and an adoring grandfather whose greatest happiness came from time spent with his grandchildren. Whether laughing, sharing stories, or simply being together, those moments meant everything to him.

Barry is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Pace and her children, Nevaeh, Brayleigh, and Bryson, of Sioux City, Iowa, and Jordan Bubke and her husband, Adam, and their three sons Seth, Hayden and Oliver of Kingsley, Iowa. He is also survived by his brothers, Brent D. King and his wife, Sumiko, of Waipahu, Hawaii, and Nathan C. King of Sioux City, Iowa; his sister, Randi Hood and her husband, Joe, of South Sioux City, Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved deeply.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brother; an infant daughter and grandson, whom he now joins in eternal rest.

Barry will be remembered for his hard working spirit, his love for family, the way he showed he cared and his free spirited nature. He will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
