   Barbara F. Zediker, 88, of Sioux City, IA passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Brookdale Senior Living.

   Private family services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.  Private burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.  Public visitation with the family present will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.  There will be a Rosary at 4:00 p.m. and a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m.  The family requests all attendees to please wear a mask at the funeral home.

   Barbara Francis, the daughter of Clark and Edna (Merrill) Turnbull, was born March 18, 1932 in Sioux City.  Barb was raised in Sioux City and graduated from Central High School.  Following high school, she attended St. Vincent School of Nursing in Sioux City.

   On April 16, 1955, Barb was united in marriage to Ivan Lou Zediker in Sioux City and this union was blessed with four children.  The family made their home in Sioux City and Barb worked as a registered nurse for various local hospitals and nursing homes until retiring in 1994.

   Barb was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.  She loved her family dearly and enjoyed visiting with them.  She also enjoyed lunches with friends, going on a cruise with her sister-in-law and loved Bassett Hound dogs.

   Barb is survived by three sons: Mike Zediker and wife Rose, Russ Zediker and wife Janita and Brian Zediker and wife Beth; one son-in-law, Marko Jaakkola; six grandsons; one granddaughter; ten great grandchildren; four sisters-in-law; and four brothers-in-law.

   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ivan on October 16, 1993; daughter, Susan; and her aunt, Bert.
