Arvin L. Uhl

Arvin Leo Uhl was born April 29, 1937, in Sioux City, Iowa.  He passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the age of 88.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Visitation with the family will begin at 9:00 A.M. at the church.  Burial will be at Graceland Park Cemetery.  

Arvin was the son of Leo and Evelyn (Mohrhauser) Uhl.  He married Donna Van Rennes on August 9, 1957, and later the couple was married at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Arvin was a loving and caring dad, whom the kids looked up to.  He also loved his dog, Pepi.  Arvin enjoyed gardening and landscaping, hunting, and was an avid Cubs fan.  His hobby was making things out of copper and brass.  

Survivors include his wife, Donna Uhl; four children and their spouses:  Jackie and Dwight Hearing, Debra and Jerry Kelly, Mark Uhl, and Jeff Uhl; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kenny.  

Pallbearers will be Dwight Hearing and Chris Uhl.
