Ariella Mae Jung, age 4, a cherished princess who held a special place in her heart for her beloved family, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on May 4, 2024 after a 2 1/2 year battle with DIPG cancer. She was born on July 10, 2019, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Jeremie Jung and Shelby Cole.
Ariella's bright spirit touched the lives of all who knew her during her time spent at Laura B. Anderson Elementary School for preschool. Her endearing personality shone through as she brought joy to those around her with her love all things makeup and princess related and her strong bond with her brothers.
In the hearts of Ariella are etched memories cherished by her surviving family: Parents: Shelby Cole and Jeremie Jung; Brothers Carsen, Dexter, and Brenner Jung; Grandparents Joe and Sara Lane, LeAnne McGraw, and Michael and Christie Cole; Aunts and Uncles: Tiffany Cole and Kelcey Schrage and Ophelia Schrage, Michael Cole II, Sabrina Reeves, Lindsay Reeves, Matthew Jung and their family, Christoper Jung and their family, and Joseph Lane. She also leaves behind numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, great-grandparents as well as an abundance of friends and family.
Ariella was preceded in death by James Jung and Jim McGraw, Linda Jung, and Tim Allerdings.
Her Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, May 10, 2024 at the Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel in Sioux City. The ceremony will be held to celebrate the beautiful life she lived at 2:00 P.M. with visitation with the family beginning at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Ariella's presence will be missed deeply by all those who had the privilege of knowing such a beautiful soul. As we bid farewell to this dear princess with heavy hearts, let us hold onto the memories she gifted us with – memories that will continue to illuminate our lives forevermore.
