Antonio Franco, 47, of South Sioux City, NE passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at a Sioux City hospital.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in South Sioux City, NE. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE.Antonio was born on December 12, 1966 in Texcoco, Mexico, the son of Jose Franco and Elena de Barreras-Bravo. He moved to the United States when he was seventeen. He was most recently working as a Supervisor at Boyd Jones Construction in Omaha, NE.Antonio was a very generous, well respected, hardworking, selfless, giving man.Survivors include his mother, Elena; a son, Levi Franco; 2 brothers, Raymond and Freddy; 1 sister, Priscilla; 3 nephews; 1 niece; and many close friends.Antonio was preceded in death by his father, Jose.
