Amil Thomas Haddad

Amil Thomas Haddad, 93 of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at a local nursing facility.  A private family burial will be on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Amil was born on July 7, 1930 in Sioux City, Iowa to Michael and Mary (Butrous) Haddad.  He graduated from Central High School with the Class of 1949.  After graduation, Amil relocated to California, where he worked in the aircraft manufacturing and testing industry.  He returned to Siouxland in the early 1980’s to take care of family. 

Amil was a member of the St. Thomas Orthodox Church in Sioux City, and in his spare time, enjoyed fishing, and Hawkeye sports.

Amil is survived by nieces and nephews, and other extended family members.

Amil was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Genevieve K. (Eugene) Gregg and Beatrice J. (Warren) Newman, and brother Ernest E. (Patricia) Haddad.
