Aliee L. Moritz

Aliee L. Moritz, 27 of Sioux City passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023 suddenly of natural causes. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Aliee was born the daughter of Donald E. Moritz and Rebecca (Callender) Moritz on December 6, 1995 in Sioux City, Iowa. She graduated from West High School. Aliee and her long-time boyfriend, Zach have a son, Noah.

Aliee worked at Hy-Vee in the floral department and spent time bartending at Prince’s Tavern. She was currently a manager at Outback Steakhouse.

Aliee was an avid collector. She enjoyed reading and journaling. Her son, Noah was the light of her life. They liked to watch movies and go on walks together. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, especially her mother, with whom she shared a close bond.

Aliee is survived by her boyfriend, Zach Dezeeuw of Sioux City; son, Noah Dezeeuw of Sioux City; father, Donnie Moritz of Ames; mother, Rebecca Moritz of Sioux City; paternal grandfather, Donald Moritz of Sioux City; and maternal grandfather, David Callender.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Karen Moritz and her maternal grandmother, Susan Callender.
