Alice A. Crandall

Alice Adel Crandall, 93, of Sioux City passed away on October 29, 2023 at Maple Heights Nursing Home.  Visitation will take place at Meyer Brothers Funeral Home 3220 Stone Park Blvd on Thursday, November 2^nd from 5 to 7 p.m.  Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1201 W Clifton Ave., Sioux City, IA on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 1 p.m. followed by interment at Graceland Park Cemetery. 

Alice, daughter of Gilbert and Emma (Rosenbaum) Coates was born September 4, 1930 in North Bend, NE.  Throughout her life, she was a loving, hard working mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was happiest when hosting family dinners, her home was filled with love and happiness. 

Left to cherish her memories are her husband Kent Crandall of Sioux City; children, Annette (Bob) Johnson of Smithland, IA; Elizabeth (Earl) Rose of Hornick, IA; Phillip (Rochelle) Corio of Jefferson, SD; Charles (Sandy) Corio of Jefferson, SD; David (Theresa) Horsley of Sioux City; Wayne (Daisy) Horsley of Sioux City; stepchildren, Ann Homer, Steven Crandall, Kelly Crandall, Marcia Crandall, Sharon Hill, Reed Crandall, and Brian Crandall along with a sister, Frances Winkel and a brother John Coates.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Florence Gourley and brother Lee Roy Buechler.
