Alda L. "Bunny" Kinsella

Alda “Bunny” L. Kinsella, 83, of Sioux City, died on August 27 at St. Lukes hospital. Per her wishes, she will be cremated, and a service will be held at a later date. Meyer Brothers has assisted with arrangements and online condolences may be offered at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Alda was born on September 21, 1941, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Daniel and Cecil Anderson. She attended Revillo High School in South Dakota and after graduation furthered her education at the University of Minnesota. On June 11, 1960, she was united in marriage to James “Jim” Kinsella in Minneapolis. Alda and James had two daughters, Holly and Lisa.

After moving to Sioux City in 1970, Alda worked at Blue Cross/Blue Shield as an insurance claims adjuster until her retirement.

Alda is survived by her daughters Lisa (Greg) Rothman of Omaha, Holly (Rob) Kraus of Sioux City; grandchildren Erin and Caitlin Rothman of Omaha, Michael (Gabby) Comstock of Janesville, WI, Nicholas Comstock of Sioux City, Marie (Malik) Blevins of Lawton, Nathan Comstock of Sioux City, step-grandchildren, Kirsten and Joseph Kraus and great grandchildren include; Elijah and Raiden Comstock, Theo Blevins.

She was preceded in death by her husband James and two infant sons.
