Beverly L. Bradley

Beverly L. Bradley, 75, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009, following a brief illness.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Beverly was born July 24, 1933, in Sioux City, to John and Viola (Nickum) Betsworth. She graduate from Central High School in 1951.

She married Alfred S. Bradley on June 10, 1951, in Sioux City. She worked as a secretary at Miller Brothers Furniture Store for 50 years.

She was an avid bingo winner and loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas. She cherished spending time with her family, with special friends and her dog, Molly.

She is survived by five sons, Steve (Brenda) Bradley of Sioux City, Tim (Lynne) Bradley of Alta Loma, Calif.; Rod (Nancy) Bradley of Denison, Iowa, Randy (Pamela) Bradley of Omaha and Robert (LeeAnn) Bradley of Council Bluffs, Iowa; a daughter-in-law, Nancy (Johnnie) Bradley; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and special friend, Dick Warren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Violet; her twin sister, Barbara; two sons, Dennis and Johnnie; and a great-granddaughter, Mazie.

Pallbearers will be Travis Bradley, Nick Bradley, Mike Bradley, Matt Bradley, Justin Bradley, Trevor Bradley, Taylor Bradley, Spencer Bradley and Jacob Bradley.
