Margaret A. Haggett

Margaret A. Haggett, 83, of Pisgah, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, passed away Feb. 15, 2011, at Community Hospital in Missouri Valley, Iowa, following a lengthy illness.

A time of visitation and fellowship will be held 11 a.m. to noon Monday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Margaret was born Aug. 27, 1927, in Sioux City, the daughter of Willard and Ruth (Engel) Gapp. She graduated from Central High School in 1945.

Survivors include her two daughters, Frances Babe and husband, Michael of LaVista, Neb., and Holly Garrison of Boise, Idaho; two brothers, Jack and wife, Phyllis and William and wife, Dot; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Fayne; a great-grandson, Tanner; a granddaughter, Margaret; three brothers, Robert, Jimmie and Calvin; and two sisters, Leota and Nada.
