NORTH SIOUX CITY -- Terry L. Leibrich, 50, of North Sioux City passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 5, 2006, near Cheyenne, Okla.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sioux City, with the Rev. Craig A. Collison officiating. Burial will be in McCook Lake Cemetery, McCook Lake, S.D. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, with a vigil service at 7 p.m., at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Terry was born March 28, 1956, in Mitchell, S.D., the son of Gerald J. and Betty J. (Krumvieda) Leibrich. Following his graduation from high school in Jefferson, S.D., he lived in North Sioux City for a brief time. He then moved to White Lake, S.D., where he spent a majority of his life. He had just recently moved back to North Sioux City to be closer to his family. He was an owner/operator and over the road truck driver.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially spending time with his family.

Survivors include his parents, Gerald and Betty Leibrich of North Sioux City; seven sisters, Carla Leibrich of McCook Lake, S.D., Patricia and her husband, Clay Torevell of North Sioux City, Mary Leibrich and Mike Cooper of North Sioux City, Lori Leibrich of Elk Point, S.D., Julie and her husband, Edward Barrett of North Sioux City, Janet Lingle of McCook Lake, S.D., and Jody Leibrich of North Sioux City; a brother, James Leibrich of White Lake, S.D.; eight nieces and nephews, Chad Torevell, Melissa Torevell, Jeramie Barrett, Brent Lingle, Michael Torevell, Clayton Leibrich, Keith Lingle and Brandon Cooper; and numerous aunts and uncles.
