Robert Lee Lewis

SIOUX CITY -- Robert Lee Lewis, 74, of Sioux City passed away Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at a local hospital.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Abiding by his wishes, the body was cremated.

Robert was born March 9, 1936, in Sioux City, to Benton and Dorothy (Mathews) Lewis. He graduated from Central High School in 1954 and studied electronics at Western Iowa Tech Community College for six years. He owned Bob's TV and Repair for 18 years before retiring.

He married Judy Strub on May 26, 1979, in Sioux City.

He loved to play poker and tennis. His grandchildren meant the world to him.

Survivors include his wife, Judy; his son, Mark Strub; his daughter, Melissa Wiseman and her husband, Christopher; and three grandchildren, Robert V. Strub and his special friend, Sarah Ricker, Stephanie Strub and her fiance, Robert Pistore Jr., and Amy Strub, all of Sioux City.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents; and a great-grandson, Nicholas.
