Michael T. Weber, Sr.

Michael T. Weber Sr., 62, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, May 18, 2006, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Indian Mission, with the Rev. F. David Titus officiating. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today and continue until service time Tuesday at the church. There will be wake services at 7 p.m. both today and Monday at the church. Mike was born Feb. 9, 1944, in Sioux City, the son of Henry and Genevieve (Matson) Weber.

He married Janet C. Mossberg on Oct. 29, 1960, in Sioux City.

He was employed by Nutrena Feed, Cargill and Hubbard Milling for 26 years. He then worked at Gateway Computers for eight years.

He was vice chair of KOTCC from August 2005 until May 2006. Mike had a variety of interests, but most of all, he enjoyed life.

Survivors include his wife, Janet; three children, Tamy (Clinton) Wiley of Sioux City, Mary Kay (Glen) Cline of Rapid City, S.D., and Michael (Rhonda) Weber Jr. of Omaha, Neb.; a brother, Jim (Judy) Tubbs of Lincoln, Neb.; a sister, Alvina Rider of Lincoln; nine grandchildren, Janice Weber, Travis (Erin) Robertson, Scott (Meaghan) Robertson, Amanda Weber, Samantha Weber, Jeffrey Weber, Joseph Weber, Daniel Weber and Rachael Weber; 13 great-grandchildren, Kiana, Keith, Kris, Kyrese, Cauy, Troya, Adam, Lynnie, Jay, Anna, Mchkenzi, Troyiesh and Jace.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Christenson.

Pallbearers will be Scott Robertson, Cauy Robertson, Travis Robertson, Clinton Wiley, Shane Mossberg, Mike Weber Jr. and Marv Harrison. Honorary pallbearers will be Bud, Jeffrey Weber, T.C. Peterson and Janice Weber.
