Katherine A. Williamson

Katherine A. Williamson, 83, of Sioux City, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2006 in Sioux City. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2006 from 3-8 p.m. with the family present from 6-8 p.m. with a prayer service being at 7:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. also at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Reverend Alex T. Washington officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Katherine was born January 6, 1923 in Sioux City to Frank E. and Jenny (Matteson) Scully. She grew up and attended Sioux City Schools. Katherine moved to Omaha for a short while but then returned to Sioux City. She then met and married John (Jack) Williamson. Katherine was a homemaker her whole life.

Katherine is survived by friends Rudy Buchholz and Lorraine Hovde both of Sioux City and her many friends at Martin Apts.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Jack in 1982.
