Arthur J. Abraham, 59, of Sioux City passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at his residence. There will be a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Father Michael Erpelding officiating. Per Arthur's wishes his body will be cremated following the mass. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 p.m. with family present from 6-8 p.m. and a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Arthur was born on July 24, 1951 in Omaha, NE to George and Mary Ann (Clark) Abraham. He graduated from Central High School in Omaha, NE and received electricians training at ABC Technical School in Omaha. He was married to Jenny Adams in 1985 in Omaha. Arthur worked as a Master Electrician for Home Depot in Sioux City. Arthur was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. He enjoyed listening to and playing music, especially blues and jazz. He was a family oriented man who considered everyone he knew family. He was a devoted and caring husband, father, grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and friend to all. He will be deeply missed by all those who's lives he touched. Arthur is survived by his wife Jenny Abraham of Sioux City; son Tim (JoDee) Shults of Sioux City; 3 daughters Dori (Darren) Koster of South Sioux City; Renee Shults of Sioux City; and Kayla Mrsny of Wayne, NE; 9 grandchildren; sister Annette Burghart of Omaha, NE; a brother Edward Abraham of Minneapolis, MN; and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother George and a sister Lois.
