Keith Jensen

Keith Jensen, 71, of Sioux City passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 at a local care center. Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Keith was born Feb. 15, 1941 in Sioux City, the son of Louis and Ruby (Strock) Jensen. He married Rae Westfall on Dec. 6, 1965 in Sioux City. Keith worked for several packinghouses and retired from John Morrell due to increasing health issues. He loved to fish and browse at rummage sales and auctions. Survivors include his wife, Rae Jensen of Sioux City; three children, Leah Ann (Chad) Stephens, Sharlene (Adam) Pranschke) and Mike Jensen and special friend Barbara Castillo, all of Sioux City; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Mathew, AshLee, Jessica and Ryan; and a brother, Louie Dean (Liz) Jensen. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Kenneth and brothers, Bill, Carl, Bob, Lloyd, Paul and Arlo; and a sister, MaryAnn. The family would like to thank Hospice of Siouxland and Hallmark Care Center for all their kindness during this difficult time.
