Susan F. Schroeder

Susan F. Schroeder, 69, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service time. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Online condolences can be directed to meyerbroschapels.com. Susan was born the daughter of Francis and Gretchen (Unkel) Noonan on July 29, 1944 in Sioux City, Iowa. She graduated from Heelan High School and later from the University of Iowa. Susan lived most of her life in Sioux City. She worked for Standard Oil in Chicago and for Union Pacific in Omaha. She most recently worked for the State of Iowa. Susan enjoyed spending time with her friends and helping others. She loved the holidays and decorating for them. Susan is survived by one son, Jason (Danette) of Glenwood, Iowa and four grandchildren, Colin, Morgan, Chloe, and E.J. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Frances.
