SIOUX CITY | Lorine (Suing) Milller, 91, of Sioux City, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at Westwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sioux City. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, rural Hartington, NE. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday with the family present 5-7 p.m. and a vigil service followed by the rosary at 5:30 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, 6200 Morningside Ave. Condolences may be sent online at www.meyerbroschapels.com. Lorine Mary was born on Aug. 11, 1922 in Fordyce, NE the daughter of Zeno and Mathilda (Schmidt) Suing. She married Glen Miller on Nov. 23, 1942 in Hartington, Neb. The couple farmed near Ponca, Neb. Glen passed away Dec. 22, 1945 in Ponca. In 1952 she moved to Sioux City and worked at Aalfs Mfg. and I.B.P. She was a senior aide at WCCA until she retired in 1991. Lorine liked to crochet, embroider, quilt and sew. She belonged to the Eagles of Sioux City and was a Cub Scout Den Mother. Survivors include a son, Joseph (Judy) Miller of Lake City, IA; three grandchildren, Todd (Amy) Miller of Sioux Falls, SD, Jodi Miller of Yetter, IA and Matthew (Angie) Miller of Des Moines, IA; Five great-grandchildren, Aiden, Libby, Alexis, Delaney and Peyton; one sister, Clara Yeaton of Dover, NH; two sisters-in-law, Viola Suing of Hartington, NE and Lina Suing of Sioux Falls, SD; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen, son, James, her parents, five sisters and four brothers, mother-in-law, Hazel and father-in-law, Orville Miller. Pallbearers will be Jodi Miller, Matthew Miller, Aiden Miller, Paul Cisney, Skip Jahde and Ron Suing. Honorary pallbearer will be Todd Miller.
