Norma Mae Parker, 90, of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Holy Spirit. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Trimble United Methodist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Online condolences can be directed to meyerbroschapels.com. Norma was born the daughter of Raymond and Leona (Randall) Morrical on April 11, 1924 in Sioux City, Iowa. She attended Leeds Elementary and Woodrow Wilson schools. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1951 where she lived until she moved back to Sioux City where she spent the last 20 years of her life. Norma was a homemaker who stayed home to raise her children. Her children were her life. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and crafts. Norma is survived by three children, Bill (Janice) Hanshaw of Phoenix, Arizona, Carla (Bernard) Poulson of Keansburg, New Jersey, and Lenny Parker of Phoenix, Arizona; one brother, Lewis (Dolores) Morrical of Phoenix, Arizona, two sisters, Maureen Kowalewski and Lonna (Raymond Tippery) Erickson both of Sioux City; eleven grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Andrew "Tubby"; and one brother, Raymond.
