Joyce Delia Keil, 81 of Sioux City, joined her loving husband in heaven on Friday, April 3, 2015. She passed surrounded at home by her family. The family held a private graveside service for Joyce on Monday, April 6th at the Eastview Cemetery in rural Allen, Nebraska and thanks you for your prayers. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel has assisted the family with arrangements. She was working the elevator at Younkers Davidson, where she met her husband to be, William Keil. They wed November 27th, 1953, and Joyce found her true calling as a wife and mother. They had 5 children: Kathy, Bill, Shirlee, Brad, and Lynda. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, gospel music, game shows, and baking. There was always a sweet treat of cookies or homemade pie to be enjoyed when visiting her. She loved social visits with friends and participated in crafts and luncheon groups. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include her sisters, Roberta and Rhodora. Her 5 children, 11 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Rowland, Ervin, and Harry, and sisters: Genevieve, Marion, and Doris.
