Pamela Marie "Pam" Nelson, 33, of Sioux City passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 17, 2015 at her residence. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 A.M. Friday, May 22, 2015 at St. Michael Catholic Church. Visitation will be Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 4-8 P.M. with the family present from 6-8 P.M. and a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Pam was born June 19, 1981, a date she was proud to share with her grandfather, in Ft. Dodge, Iowa the daughter of Tamara and Larry Nelson Jr. Pam lived in Omaha, Des Moines, and Sioux City. She was employed doing contract services for NPI. Pam enjoyed time with family the most in her life as well as bowling, track, dancing, singing, word search, Garth Brooks music, and Mary Kate and Ashley shows and movies. She loved talking on the phone (talking to mom, dad, grandma, and grandpa) at night, as well as aunts (who always gave her advice), uncles, cousins, and friends. Pam had a huge hug for everyone and worried about everyone else before herself, and could remember happy things that happened in the past that others forget about. Survivors include her father Larry Nelson Jr. of Dakota Dunes, SD; grandparents Mary and Larry Seyl of Omaha, NE; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Tamara Nelson, brother Joseph, and grandparents Dee and Larry Nelson Sr. Pam was a beautiful example of love and joy.
