Allen Terrell Allen Terrell, age 62, of North Sioux City, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015, in Salem, South Dakota at a Veterans' facility. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, where Allen's family will be present from 6 PM and 8 PM and a Prayer Service will be held at 7 PM. Allen Wayne, son of Harvey and Beverly (Rosenbaum) Terrell, was born October 14, 1952, in Sioux City, Iowa. He grew up in Sioux City and attended Riverside School. Following his schooling, Allen served the U.S. Army for two years. On November 25, 1972, Allen was united in marriage with Diana Musselman. Three daughters were born to this union. His primary occupation was that of a heavy equipment operator on a road construction crew. Allen enjoyed being in the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, traveling to the mountains, listening to some "Rock and Roll", being with friends and his dog "Dino" 2. Allen is survived by: two brothers Bryan and Cecil and his wife Monica; three daughters: Megan Surber and husband Troy Kunkel, Nicolle Anderson, and Letitia Terrell; five grandchildren: Connor, Kevin, Michael, Jeanine, and James; his good friend Ron Powers; and by many cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents Harvey and Ruby Terrell.
