Jean Ann Beller (Pedersen), 79, of Sioux City passed away Sunday May 24, 2015 at a Sgt. Bluff Iowa nursing home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 30, 2015 at Riverside United Methodist church with the Rev. Liz Tucker officiating. Visitation will be Friday May 29, 2015 from 4 till 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Jean Ann Beller was born September 13, 1935 in Sioux City Iowa the daughter of Arthur L. and Estele M. (Heiderman) May. She graduated from Sioux City Central High School in the class of 1954. Jean married Lindstrom Pedersen Jr., May 18, 1957 he preceded her in death January 19, 1991. Jean later married Robert Beller in 1999, Robert preceded her in death June 18, 2001. Jean was employed as a secretary at McCook Elementary School, West Middle School, Hawthorne Elementary, Riverview Elementary and Mayflower Congregational Church. Jean also did numerous hours of volunteer work at the Sioux City Senior Center and was active in scouting for 47 years. She enjoyed tending flowers, scrapbooking, reading, eating with her ladies group, and other church related activities. Jean is survived by her sons: Lindy (Tammy)Pedersen Sr. of Sioux City, Timothy (Lisa) Pedersen of Edwardsville, IL, daughter Debi (Paul) Braun of Columbus, NE., Step Sons: Tom Beller, David Beller and Step Daughter Carolyn Trigg. Grandchildren: Tara Pedersen, Lindy Pedersen, Jr. both of Sioux City, Melani Braun, Elizabeth Braun, Alycin Braun and Taylor Braun all of Columbus, NE. Jacob Pedersen, Hannah Pedersen, Avery Pedersen, Evelyn Pedersen and Peter Pedersen all of Edwardsville, IL. along with three great grandchildren Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husbands.
