Gary Owen Parker

Gary Owen Parker, 66, of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Sunday May 24, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday June 1, 2015 at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel with the Rev. David Carlson of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Gary Parker was born July 29, 1948 in Sioux City Iowa the son of Bill and Helen (Brown) Parker. He attended Sioux City Community Schools and graduated from Sioux City Central High School. Mr. Parker was employed in sales with Bomgaars in Sioux City. In his free time Gary loved the out doors and working on cars. In 1974 Gary married the former Linda Monk here in Sioux City. Gary is survived by his two children Brent Owen Parker of Colorado, his daughter Jennifer Lee Simonton of Texas and step-daughter Tammi. Two brothers Randy Parker of Sioux City and Lin Parker of California and special friend Connie Dougherty of South Sioux City Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents.
