Helen had a close relationship with her extended family as well, and her rolls, pies, and chicken and noodles were legendary at family reunions. Helen is survived by her children, Lonnie Zimmerman, Carolyn Severson, Thomas Zimmerman, Cheryl Rife, and Sheila Christiansen, and twelve grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and an infant son, Larry. Memorial donations may be sent in her name to her church, First Lutheran Church, 3601 Dakota Ave, So.
