Phillip Henry Sr.

Phillip Henry Sr, age 59, of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015, at a local hospital. No services are being planned at this time. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Phillip Andrew Henry Sr., son of Phillip and Marlene (Raymond) Henry, was born July 11, 1956, in Sioux City, Iowa. He graduated from West High School and then served in the Marine Corps. Upon leaving the service, Phillip moved to Des Moines and then back to Sioux City where he worked many years for HyVee from where he retired. Phillip enjoyed airlplanes, museums and putting together different models. Phillip is survived by: his mother Marlene Henry of Sioux City; two sons: Phillip Henry Jr. and Anthony Henry, both of Des Moines; a grandson Alexander; and seven siblings: Michelle Henry, Steven Henry, Peggy Henry, David Henry, Joan Henry, Matthew Henry, and Melissa Flaught and her husband Lance. He was preceded in death by his father.
