Julia "Julie" Kay Goetz, 58, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, October 30, 2015 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Logan Park Cemetery. Online condolences can my made at www.meyerbroschapels.com. Julie was born March 9, 1957, the daughter of Walter and Alda (Schwery) Goetz. She had one son, Justin. They lived in Sioux City. She loved to spend time with her son Justin, he graduated from West High School in 1999 and is currently employed in the Sioux City area. Julie also loved to color, enjoyed cats, music and reading. Julie is survived by her son Justin; 2 sisters: Joan (Dan) Heller of Irwin, IA, and Jean (Doug) Gross of Defiance, IA; nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Sam and a sister Jackie.
