Michael Hendrix

WHITING, Iowa | Michael Alan Hendrix, 49, of Whiting, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, at a Sioux City hospital.

No services will be held at this time.

Mike was born on Dec. 13, 1966, in Sioux City, the son of Joe and Carol Hendrix. He was raised in Hubbard, Neb., and graduated from Emerson (Neb.) High School.

Mike enjoyed traveling, living in Hawaii, Arizona, and various other places. He enjoyed the outdoors and motorcycles.

Mike married Vicky Harrison on July 4, 2003, before moving to Whiting.

Survivors include his mother and father; his sisters, Toni Hendrix (Tom) and Terri Martin (Ed); a brother, Jerry Hendrix (Martina); nieces and nephews, Cassy Williams (Mike), JJ Robinson, Jake Ohnmacht, Austin Hendrix (Mariah), and Samantha Hendrix; and grandnieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Mark; and maternal and paternal grandparents.

He will be missed dearly.
