Carolyn Hinojosa

Carolyn Hinojosa, 68, of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016, at her home. A prayer service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 7, 2016, at Heartland Community Baptist Church in Sioux City. Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel is handling arrangements.

Carolyn, daughter of William and Johnnie (Edwards) Johnson, was born July 21, 1948, in Clovis, New Mexico. She spent most of her life in Topeka, Kansas, and moved to Sioux City a few months ago. Carolyn enjoyed attending Heartland Community Baptist Church where she was baptized and became a member. She also actively volunteered at the Gospel Mission.

Carolyn’s family includes a close friend Kerri Zaleta and her daughter Olivia, as well as her family at the Gospel Mission.
