Keri Ann Torres

Keri Ann Torres, 36, of Sioux City passed away Friday January 13, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday January 23, 2017 at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel with the Rev. officiating.  Visitation will be held Sunday January 22, 2017 from 4 till 6 P.M. at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel.  Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. 

Keri Ann Torres was born July 12, 1980 in Sioux City Iowa the daughter of Ann Wood. She attended Sioux City Schools, graduating from Sioux City West High.  Keri then graduated from Western Iowa Tech Community College with an associate’s degree in Police Science.  She was employed with Tyson Cold Storage as a transportation clerk for almost 14 years.  Keri also worked at the Blue Iguana as a bartender for many years. 

She had one son Geraldo Torres, who was united with God December 2, 2013

Survivors include her parents Ann and Jesse Segura; Brothers Zedekiah Kurtz and Zachariah Kurtz; Grandmother Betty Lou Wood Aunts Kara Wood, Geri-Beth Harder; Uncle Jonathan Wood, Ed Wood; A great aunt Jean Ann Wanberg – Farley; Cousins Kylie Wood, Steveanna, Jolie, Paul and Nick Wamberg and many nieces and nephews.

Keri was preceded in death by her son Geraldo Torres; Grandfather Rev. Jerry Wood; Great Grandfather Iran Farley; great grandmother Wava Farley; grandfather Jesus Segura Rodriguez and grandmother Juana Segura-Aldrete
