SIOUX CITY | LeAnn J. Stephens, 65, of Sioux City passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2017 at Pioneer Valley Living & Rehabilitation in Sgt. Bluff, IA.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Pastor Doug Collins of Radiant Life Community Church will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be the hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.meyerbroschapels.com.
LeAnn was born on August 13, 1951 in Sioux City to Gaius W. and Ethel A. (Whitlock) Stephens. She attended school in Sioux City and graduated from East High School in 1970. She then attended Spencer School of Cosmetology.
LeAnn worked at Gingham Girl Salon then at St. Luke’s Medical Center and later for Siouxland Hematology.
She loved traveling with her friends throughout various parts of the United States and Canada
Survivors include a brother, Robert Stephens, a sister, Lila (Stephens) Solomon, and a brother William (Sherol) Stephens all of Sioux City; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister-in-law, Mae Stephens and a nephew, Thad W. Stephens.
Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews.
