Michael Alton

Michael Alton, 32 of Sioux City passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017.

Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, APRIL 29th at the Sergeant Bluff Legion Hall in Sergeant Bluff, IA.

Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel.

Michael was born September 11, 1984 in Cleveland, OH; he was the son of Don and Cyncia (Griggs) Maryott.

Michael was a member of the 960th Quartermaster of the U.S. Army Reserves and had served in Iraq.

He enjoyed spending time with his children and family.

Survivors include 6 children: Mason, Marcus, Landen, McKayla, Morgan and Melanee; his parents Cyncia and Don Maryott of Thurston, NE; a brother John and his wife Maggie; a sister Rachel and her husband John.

Michael was preceded in death by his older brother James.
