Margaret Mae “Peggy” Pearson 91 of Plattsmouth, NE formerly of South Sioux City and rural Dakota City passed away Monday October 26, 2015 at the Nebraska Masonic Home in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. There will be a lunch at noon Friday at the Salem Lutheran Church in rural Dakota City. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time, 2:00 P.M. Friday, at Salem Lutheran Church, rural Dakota City with Rev. Karen Tjarks and her grandson Rev. Scott Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.   Becker – Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City is in charge of arrangements. Peggy was born May 9, 1924, in South Sioux City the daughter of William F. and Mary (Dierking) Oehlerking. She graduated from Dakota City High School. She married Rex E. Pearson October 3, 1942 in Wahoo, Nebraska. She was manager of the I.B.P. – Credit Union for fifteen years.           She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and had served as secretary treasurer. She was a Worthy Matron of Dakota Chapter of Eastern Star, Mother Advisor of Assembly #12, Rainbow for Girls, Queen of Hathor Chapter, member of Daughters of the Nile Temple and a 4-H leader. She was a member of the Craft and Culture Club of the Salem Community and the Ladies Tennis Club.           Survivors include a son and his wife Rodney E. and Sherie Pearson of Omaha, two daughters and their husbands: Mary and John Kelly of Ellisville, MO, Jeanne and Percy Wolf of Greeley, Co, twelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and a brother-in-law George Madsen of Omaha.           Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Jeff and Scott Kelly, Rik Minnick, Nick, Colter and Chase Pearson.           Memorials may be directed the Salem Lutheran Church or the Nebraska Masonic Home, 1300 Ave D, Plattsmouth, NE 68045.
