Beth Ann Nyreen

Beth A. Nyreen, 54 of South Sioux City passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at a Sioux City Hospital.           Combined services for Beth and her brother Charles, who also died May 20, 2015 will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home with the Rev. Brion Tolzman officiating. Beth’s burial will be in Omaha Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.           Beth was born April 30, 1961 in Modesto, California the daughter of Homer L. and Betheen A. (King) Nyreen. She graduated from high school She married Kenneth Deiterman and later married Bob James.           She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Walthill, Nebraska.           Survivors include three step daughters: Candy James, Lori James both of Sioux City and Barbara Brunick  of Sioux Falls, SD,  two step sons: Robert James Jr, and Victor James both of Sioux City, a brother Darwin Nyreen of Dakota City, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, a nephew Daniel Nyreen and Niece Stephanie Nyreen who she was a second mom to.           She was also preceded in death by a son Kenneth Deiterman, two other brothers: Sonny and Lawrence Nyreen.           In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family for a designated distribution at a later date.                      Immediately following the service there will be a lunch for the family and friends at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
