William L. “Bill” Bean, 73 of rural Hubbard, Nebraska passed away Friday January 2, 2015 at his residence with family by his bedside. Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at Southern Hills Baptist Church in Sioux City with the Rev. David Miller officiating. A lunch and fellowship with the family will be at the church following the service. Visitation with the family will be from four to seven p.m. Sunday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home. Bill was born April 5, 1941 in South Sioux City the son of Roy H. and Margaret (Sanford) Bean. He graduated from South Sioux City High School in 1959. He served in the U. S. Navy from September 16, 1958 and was honorably discharged on September 15, 1964.. He married Cathy McCoy. He then married Connie Jeanne Ronfeldt October 3, 1975 in South Sioux City. Bill was employed at Clausen Electric in South Sioux City for several years. He then established Bean Electric and owned and operated the business until retiring. He attended Southern Hills Baptist Church in Sioux City. Survivors include his wife Connie, three sons: Richard and his wife Dawn Bean of Rockford, Illinois, Philip and his wife Deb Schwegler of Hubbard, Nebraska, Bill F. Bean and his finance KaLyn Kramper of Salix, Iowa, two daughters: Angela Riley of Plainfield, Illinois, Jennifer and her husband Brian Benjamin of Sioux City, a brother Tom Bean of Albuquerque, New Mexico, four sisters: Alice Westfall of Mason City, Iowa, Inez DiManbro of Dover, New Hampshire, Irene Beatty of Melford, Oregon, Betty and her husband Wayne Langy of Adams, Wisconsin, sixteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents a brother John and two grandsons: Eion and Christian. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Siouxland or the family.
