Judy L. Schincke

Judy L. Schincke, 68, of Sioux City passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at her residence. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Burial of her cremains will be at a later date in Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Hunt Funeral Home. Judy was born on May 21, 1945 in Mitchell,SD to Charles and Delores (Lowe) Smith. She graduated from High School in Armour, SD. She united in marriage to Donald Schincke on July 23, 1970 in Elk Point, SD. She worked for a few years at Sioux Optical Suppliers and at Holiday Gas Station and later became the office manager for Nurse Finders in Sioux City. She enjoyed boating and caring for animals, especially her cats. She is survived by her husband Donald Schincke of Sioux City; sister Donna (Bennis) Zoss of AZ; brother Clifford (Marcine) Smith of De Smet, SD; sister Kim Becvar of Armour, SD; and special friends Connie Smith of Sioux City and Jim and Linda Alvarez of Gretna, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, step father Pete Bruening and a brother Charles Smith.
